Walking Towards Wellness: My Journey and the One Door Wellness Walk
Sunday 29th SepFor me, walking has always been more than just physical activity. It’s a time to reflect, reconnect with myself, and find peace in the midst of life’s chaos. There’s something about the rhythm of each step, the fresh air, and the space it creates in my mind that brings clarity and calm.
This year, I’ve made wellness and well-being a personal priority. Life can sometimes feel like it’s moving so fast, and it's easy to forget to take a breath and care for yourself. I’ve realised that wellness isn’t just about the physical aspects—it’s about mental and emotional well-being too. It’s about creating moments of balance, feeling centered, and focusing on self-care.
That’s why this year’s One Door Wellness Walk on October 13th means so much to me. It’s more than just an event—it's a way for me to deepen my commitment to my own wellness journey while also supporting others. Walking alongside people who share the same values, who believe in breaking the stigma around mental health, is incredibly empowering.
Together, we can take steps—both literal and figurative—towards a healthier, more mindful, and compassionate future.
